Terms and Conditions

The Quilter’s Lodge strives to provide the best experience for all its customers possible. These terms and conditions are designed for the safety, security, and enjoyment of all our customers.

Rates – Rates are subject to change without notice.

Taxes – All overnight bookings will be charged current sales and lodging taxes. As of March, 2015, the combined rate is 12.6%.

Deposit & Payment – All group reservations require a non-refundable deposit of $150. Deposit is due at time of booking. Deposits will be put towards booking charges. Remaining amount of booking is due no latter then 30 days before the first day of the reservation.

Method of Payment – We accept all major credit cards, check, and cash. Please note that if paid by check, your reservation will not take effect until the check has cleared. All returned checks will be assessed a $25 fee.

Cancellations – For Private Retreats:

We do allow cancellations up to 90 days before the scheduled reservation. However, the deposit is non-refundable.

Cancellations after the 90 day window are not accepted, regardless the circumstances.  You will still be responsible for the entire booking. No-shows will automatically forfeit deposit and all open balances will be automatically charged.

Date changes are considered a cancellation. As such, after the 90 day window, you will still be required to pay for the original and new booking dates.

Early departures will not receive any discount or refund.

Cancellations – For Workshops:

We do allow cancellations up to 30 days before the day of the workshop. Cancellations after the 30 days prior to the workshop are not accepted, regardless the circumstances. You will still be responsible for the entire workshop fees. No-shows will automatically forfeit deposit and all open balances will be automatically charged.

Early departures will not receive any discount or refund.

Check-In & Out –

  • You may check-in anytime between 3 pm and 5 pm. If you need to check in before 11 am special arrangements need to be made and extra fees may apply.
  • You may check-out anytime between 10 am and 12 pm. If you need to checkout latter then 5 pm special arrangement need to be made and extra fees may apply.

Accessibility – There is an elevator that goes from the main floor to the basement. However, the second floor is only accessible from the stairs. We have also specifically designed two rooms to be ADA accessible. If you require an ADA accessible room, please let us know at time of booking.

Technology – We take pride in our state of the art facilities and free WiFi. However, we do request that you avoid downloading large files as this could disrupt other guests’ access. Also, we are not responsible for service outages or incompatibility with your device.

No-Smoking Policy – To protect our guests and the facilities, we do not allow smoking anywhere on the premises. This policy is strictly enforced and anyone found violating it will be fined $500 and automatically charged to the card on account. Also, any costs for repairs or cleaning resulting from violating this policy will be charged to violator.

Alcohol – We do not serve alcohol at the Lodge, however, you may bring your own. We do request that you always drink responsibly and reserve the right remove alcohol at our own discretion.

Illegal Substances – Illegal substances are strictly prohibited from the premises. Violation of this policy will be immediately reported to the authorities. Violators will also be banned from the premises indefinitely.

Children – Children are welcome to stay at the Lodge. We do require that they are supervised by an adult at all times.

Pets – We do not allow pets to stay at the Lodge. We are more than happy to help you find a “Bed & Bone” for your pets.

Quiet Hours – To ensure an enjoyable stay for all guests, we observe quiet hours between 10pm and 8am.

Open Flame – No open flame allowed in the lodge. This includes, but is not limited, to candles, incense, etc.

Food Service – All overnight booking include a continental breakfast which is available from 8-10 am. We also offer additional catering for lunch and dinner if requested during booking for an extra fee.

Dining in Guest Rooms – Although we do not prohibit food in the guest rooms, we encourage guests to eat meals in one of our several sitting areas.

Kitchen Access – There are two full kitchens and a small kitchenette for guests to use in preparing their own food. You are free to use them at any time, just be courteous of others also desiring to use the facilities. If you do use any of the kitchen areas, please wash, dry, and put away all kitchen appliances and eating utensils. If the kitchens areas are left dirty at checkout a cleaning surcharge will be automatically added to your booking fees.

Laundry Access – We have added several laundry stations in the Lodge. Guests are welcome to use them at any time. You are free to wash cloths or even pre-shrink fabric. However, we do not permit the use of the washing machines for dyeing fabric.

Damages – Any damages caused by guests to the facilities will be automatically charged to the card on file. This includes any excess cleaning due to guest negligence. Please promptly report any accidents and/or damages to staff.

Liability Disclaimer – We take safety matters very seriously. However, The Lodge or its staff is not responsible for any bodily injury, loss/theft, or damages to you or your property. By participating in any activity or event at the Lodge, you agree to not assert or make any claims against the Lodge.

Impossible Performance – In the event that The Lodge cannot fulfil a reservation for any reason, your full booking expenses will be returned to you. By accepting these terms you agree to hold The Lodge harmless for the termination.

Special Services – We strive to make every guest’s experience special. If you have any special requests or services please let us know in advance. We try to accommodate every reasonable request. Please note that some special services may require extra fees.

Miscellaneous – Due to limited parking space, we cannot accommodate motor homes, RV’s or trailers.

Tours – Tours of the Lodge are available anytime during our regular business hours.
